Wild West Trekking has a practical learning approach, we believe that for mutual respect between horse and rider, the rider needs to work with the horse on the ground to develop a good basic understanding of horsemanship, this enables the horse to trust their new rider once they are on. 
These lessons are very beneficial for those who have a fear of horses or would like to learn to a point where they can then own their own horse and become a responsible owner. 
You will learn about the gear, the animal health and how the horse ‘thinks’.
We offer varied activities in the aim of developing well-rounded confident riders.
